This
book is a selection of primary sources(particularly letters)describing
the happenings during the years 1728-1759 in NW-PA and gives much
credible evidence on the region's connection to the making of America.
This book is not meant as a history of the region but rather a collection
of raw materials from which the history was written. It was from
this Upper Ohio Valley wilderness that a new republic had its roots
and a new nation was founded: the USA! One of the most complete
collections of key documents and correspondences relating to the
French & Indian War and Pontiac's War available to the public.
