About the artist:
Jim Wilson was born and raised in Virginia and has had a lifelong enthusiasm for the natural world. He began drawing the creatures around his home at the age of five, and by twelve knew his primary interest would always be wildlife and art.

Throughout his 30 year career, he has traveled extensively to study wildlife in its natural habitat and has painted along the side of wildlife art masters such as Robert Bateman. Jim devotes much time and attention to the preservation for wilderness and wildlife and continues to paint professionally..
