On
the Heights by Pamela Patrick White
There is nothing easy about life's struggle just as there is nothing
easy about dragging a cannon up a mountain. But when the struggle
has taken you to the heights needed to put the cannon in place,
there comes a certain satisfaction. A comradery develops with those
that helped you pull it along, binding you together and creating
a trust you can count on. To struggle is not always a bad thing.
