Our
Favorite Place by John Weiss
Every home has it - a warm, congenial
spot that beckons as evening falls. John found this perfect interior
setting in a restored 19th-century farmhouse nestled among the rolling
hills of Ohio. The hat and jacket, he says, belong to Grady, his
elderly neighbor featured in an informal series of portraits; two
of which, Old Friends and Forever Friends can be seen below have
sold out at publisher. "You'll notice though," John says, "that
Grady's cane isn't here; perhaps he's off preparing the evening
meal for the two." Published from the artist's original oil painting.
